A 3 Fonteinen vintage beer is chosen very carefully by our team. When we come across a beautiful blend with a lot of aging potential during our tasting sessions, we mark it to become a 3 Fonteinen Vintage. Which means it rests in ideal conditions at 3 Fonteinen 3 years after bottling. We take this very seriously. Which also means that the blend can shift; coming across another blend that we find to be even more suitable. The last 3 Fonteinen Vintage we released was mid-2020 a Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2017. Now we are releasing an Oude Geuze Vintage 2019 375ml and Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 2019 375ml at the same time. It is not sure that we will release a Vintage yet again in 2023, although we did tuck away a magnum Cuvée Armand & Gaston with bottling date 2020 … The 3 Fonteinen vintage blends will get one of the paintings of the Nightlights-series of local painter Felix de Boeck on it, who was one of the founding fathers of abstract art in Belgium and Armand was one of his admirers. Part of the proceeds of the 3 Fonteinen vintage bottlings go to the FeliXart Museum, dedicated to this painter.
